“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
I love a good snow day. The type when you look out the window first thing in the morning and to your surprise see a white blanket covering the streets. The kind that becomes chaotic, when the city shuts down and you are forced to leave work early. I love drinking a hot chocolate and watching snow flurries peacefully fall from the night sky. And of course I love being snowed in so I can knit, chunky winter knits, with Merino Wool. Oh snow, I have missed you dearly this Winter.
